Environmental & Hydrological Surveys
PBA are amongst the foremost authorities on habitat
creation works in the UK. Their studies of the physical environment
inform the development of sustainable habitats, environmental
management of sites of recreational interest, and mitigatory
or compensatory measures for planning gain.
PBA undertake a range of environmental and hydrological
surveys utilising in house expertise and external specialist
consultants. In house specialists include environmental scientists,
geologists, ecologists, hydrologists, and wetland managers.
PBA have undertaken hydrological investigations to
inform proposed developments in floodplains. These studies
have assessed the potential for flooding and advised on flood

to all aspects of the water environment including water quality,
fisheries and recreation, hydrology, hydrogeology and water
